7 Keys To An Offering God Must Multiply

What does it take to draw a financial anointing into someone’s life?

Money doesn’t draw the anointing.

Power doesn’t draw the anointing.

Prestige doesn’t draw the anointing.

The only thing that consistently draws the anointing of God is a person of godly or noble character.

There are only two descriptions of someone with noble character in the scriptures and both of them are women.

The first is found in Proverbs 31:10

“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.”

I have often referred to my fine wife, Bev, as a Proverbs 31 woman.  It is obvious that she is much more than what we would call a housewife.  Before I continue with this teaching, let me share something that’s been on my heart.

I’ve traveled in all 50 states over thousand times. . .spoken in or visited 13 foreign countries. . .been to six state fairs. . .dozens of county fairs. . .more carnivals than I care to admit. . .and there is one thing that I have never seen. . .it’s a HOUSEWIFE.

That’s right, in all my travels I’ve never met a woman who was married to a house.  For that matter, I’ve never seen a woman married to an apartment, condo or double-wide mobile home.  I know that sometimes it may feel like a woman is married to her house because of all the attention she give it. . .but the point is. . .she is not married. . .not even engaged or dating the house.

So when I hear a man refer to his wife as “just a housewife,” it causes the hair to rise up on the back of my neck.  Such a statement is usually offered in contempt. . .thinking that working at home is somehow less demanding.  Let me be clear . . . to call any woman “just a housewife” is insulting, demeaning and void of factual basis.

During the years that my fine wife, Bev, was a stay-at-home Mom, she had the most important job on the planet. . .caring for and home schooling our children. . .our legacy  . . . and the future of the Herring family.

We’ve always filed joint income returns and in those days Bev’s occupation was listed as “Household Executive.”

I remember years ago seeing an episode of the “I Love Lucy” show where Ricky Ricardo and Fred Mertz switched roles with their wives, Lucy and Ethel.  The results were disastrous. . .Ricky and Fred had to admit that working at home was far more difficult than they had imagined.

“A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.”

Read the entire chapter of Proverbs 31 and you’ll gain a new perspective on the role of a Household Executive. . .a woman of noble character.

And by the way, the scripture says that the noble woman is worth “. . .far more than rubies.”  That’s what I call a financial anointing.

The other scriptural reference of a woman described with noble character is found in Ruth 3:11:

“And now, my daughter, don't be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All my fellow townsmen know that you are a woman of noble character.”

On the surface it would seem that Ruth is the total opposite of the Proverbs 31 woman.  She is a foreigner, a widow, poor, not a Jew, and with no discernible or marketable skills.  If there ever was someone who had the right to be bitter and angry. . .it was Ruth.

She married a Jew who was a foreigner in her homeland of Moab. . .but he died after only ten years of marriage.  Ruth was still a very young woman.

I’m not going to focus on the traditional story of Ruth and Naomi although I will tell you that it is one of my mother’s favorite stories since her middle name is Ruth.   She is called Ms Annie Ruth by those who know and love her.

As you know, Naomi returned to Israel so she could survive and Ruth came with her by choice.  Even then it was tough for Naomi and Ruth.  The only way they could eat was by Ruth picking up what was left behind in the fields at harvest time.

“One day Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go out into the harvest fields to pick up the stalks of grain left behind by anyone who is kind enough to let me do it.”        Ruth 2:2 NLT

Over the years, I’d heard it said that Ruth only had her reputation and character going for her.  That much is true. . .but I believe Ruth was also pleasant to look out.

Boaz at first didn’t realize who Ruth was but he knew what she looked like and how hard she was working.  He was definitely checking her out and it wasn’t initially because of her character.

“Then Boaz asked his foreman, “Who is that young woman over there? Who does she belong to?”  Ruth 2:5 NLT

When Boaz discovered who Ruth was, he was even more impressed because he had heard of her fine reputation.

“8 Boaz went over and said to Ruth, “Listen, my daughter. Stay right here with us when you gather grain; don’t go to any other fields. Stay right behind the young women working in my field. 9 See which part of the field they are harvesting, and then follow them. I have warned the young men not to treat you roughly. And when you are thirsty, help yourself to the water they have drawn from the well.

“10 Ruth fell at his feet and thanked him warmly. “What have I done to deserve such kindness?” she asked. “I am only a foreigner.”  Ruth 2:8-10 NLT

Your reputation. . .your character will always bring recognition, promotion and it will draw a financial anointing into your life.  Consider the words found in Ruth 2:11-12 in the Message Bible:

“Boaz answered her, "I've heard all about you—heard about the way you treated your mother-in-law after the death of her husband, and how you left your father and mother and the land of your birth and have come to live among a bunch of total strangers. God reward you well for what you've done—and with a generous bonus besides from God, to whom you've come seeking protection under his wings."

Child of God, you may have been going through hell but. . .

When you do what is right. . .

When you give honor where honor is due. . .

When you don’t quit or give up. . .

When you don’t look back and whine about the good old days or what might have been.

When you don’t complain about what you don’t have or what you have to do to survive.

When the character of God is evidenced in how you respond and react to every situation. . .then you are destined for success and Kingdom promotion.

A person of noble character will often begin their walk in godly favor without even knowing it.  Supernatural intervention in their lives may not even be obvious at first.

I want you to embrace this next statement. . .I want you to get it down in your spirit so you know that you know it’s a reality in your life.  Here it is:

God is doing more for you right now that you can’t see . . . so He can bring you into the things that you can see.

“When she got up to go back to work, Boaz ordered his servants: "Let her glean where there's still plenty of grain on the ground—make it easy for her. Better yet, pull some of the good stuff out and leave it for her to glean. Give her special treatment."               Ruth 2:15-16 MSG

Ruth got the good stuff. . .special treatment. . .supernatural favor because of her character. . .even though she was as poor as a church mouse.

By the way, have you ever heard someone say that a person was as poor as a synagogue mouse?  Of course not, that’s because the Jewish people embrace what the Torah says about money.  But that’s another message.

There is so much at work in the story of Ruth. . .I could do several blogs on it.
Is there such a thing as an offering that God must multiply. . .absolutely there is!

The information in this teaching is not secret information . . . it’s not mystical or magical . . . it’s simply and profoundly, the Word of God. The scriptural insight you’re about to read has changed the lives of millions of people just like you and best of all it is about to change your life as well. Remember, if God did it for others, He will do it for you.

Acts 10:34 in the Amplified Bible says:

“And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons.”

Hebrews 13:8 says:

“. . .Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”

Here are the “7 Keys To An Offering God Must Multiply.”

Key # 1          Your Offering Must Be Given Willingly

2 Corinthians 8:12 says:

“For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.”

A willing mind is necessary because God does not personally receive any of the offerings you are giving. The money you give will stay right here on planet earth, accomplishing the purposes of God.

The only thing God will personally receive from your offering is the joy you give it with.

Let me say that again.

The only thing God will personally receive from your offering is the joy you give it with.

2 Corinthians 9:7 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, "prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving].” The Contemporary English Version of 2 Corinthians 9:7 says:

“. . . God loves people who love to give.”

Have you ever noticed the attitude change that takes place at offering time? Suddenly the mood becomes extremely serious. This is definitely not the response that pleases God at offering time.

No matter how others feel about giving to God, you must make sure that you are truly joyful as you give so the offering becomes one that God must multiply.

Luke 18:22-23 in the Amplified Bible says:

“And when Jesus heard it, He said to him, One thing you still lack. Sell everything that you have and divide [the money] among the poor, and you will have [rich] treasure in heaven; and come back [and] follow Me [become My disciple, join My party, and accompany Me]. But when he heard this, he became distressed and very sorrowful, for he was rich--exceedingly so.”

Your offering must demonstrate your love for God. It must cause joy to arise in God’s heart.

Be on guard as you prepare to give your offering . . . for the devil will try to discourage you from giving. Do whatever it takes to resist him because the offering God must multiply has to be given cheerfully and willingly.

Exodus 35:4-5 says:

“And Moses said to all the congregation of the Israelites, This is what the Lord commanded: Take from among you an offering to the Lord. Whoever is of a willing and generous heart, let him bring the Lord's offering: gold, silver, and bronze.”

Key Number One—Your Offering Must Be Given Willingly.

Key # 2          Your Offering must be Given According to God’s Goodness To You

2 Corinthians 8:12 (Paraphrased)

“. . .your offering is accepted if it is given according to the things God has provided and not according to the things that you do not have.”

This verse clearly states that God will accept your offering if it is given in accordance with the blessings He has already given to you. It also says that God will not accept your offering if you allow it to be adversely influenced by the insufficiency you might be experiencing at the time.

This may seem hard to understand at first but it should become clearer with this following illustration.

I want you to picture in your imagination all the things you presently are in need and place them on your left side. Now picture everything God has already given and done for you and place them on your right side.

When you decide how much your offering must be, keep in mind that God’s Word says He will only accept your offering if it is given in accordance with the things He has already provided for you. Or as the Bible says “. . .it (your offering) is accepted according to that a man hath (the things already provided).”

When you give in this way it will make your offering an “expression of your gratitude” for the things God has already done.

However, if you allow the pressure from your insufficiency to influence the amount of your offering, it is not acceptable to God. It will not be accepted because your offering will be given in accordance with the work of the one who is causing the shortage that now exists in your life, namely the devil.

You must never allow your concern over the temporary shortage or insufficiency you are facing to decrease the amount of your offering.

You are not losing what you are giving. You are sowing it into your future for a greater return.

Most Christians make the fatal mistake of allowing their shortage to adversely affect their generosity to God. Their thoughts unconsciously go as follows:

“I need tires for the car, the air conditioner is broken, and I have so many bills to pay. Therefore, because of the financial pressure the devil is causing me, I don’t see any other way but to penalize God by lowering the amount I give to Him.”

When you decide the amount of your offering in this way, God must reject it. Here’s why: You do not trust God. You are choosing to penalize God by lowering the amount you will give Him because of a temporary shortage the devil is causing.

I purposely used the word “temporary” because there will be no shortage when God multiplies your offering back to you. You will certainly have more than enough. If you trust Him, He will provide for your needs.

Psalm 78:41,42 in the New King James Version says:

“Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel.

They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,”

The Bible says that your return from the offering God must multiply has the potential of being “exceedingly abundantly above all that (you) ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20

Let’s look at one more verse that describes how wonderful it will be when God delivers your harvest.

Judges 18:10 says:

“. . .ye shall come. . .to. . .a place where there is no want of anything that is in the earth.”

Be careful not to make the fatal mistake of placing God in a position below your creditors. Put Him first in all things, particularly the offering, thereby demonstrating that everything you now posses has come from Him and everything you still have need of will also come from Him. Carefully notice that this is exactly the way Jesus says you should give your offering.

Matthew 6:31,33 says:

“. . .take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

It is interesting to note that when the offering of the Macedonians went beyond the amount they could afford to give, God immediately broke their cycle of poverty and loosed overflowing wealth to them.

Though they have been going through much trouble and hard times, they have mixed their wonderful joy with their deep poverty, and the result has been an overflow of giving.

2 Corinthians 8:3 in The Living Bible says:

“They have not only what they could afford, but far more. . .”

You must determine the amount you will give without allowing the things you need to decrease the amount you give. God knows about every one of your needs and has faithfully promised to supply all of them when you put Him first.

Key Number Two—Your offering must be given according to God’s goodness to you.

Key # 3--Your Purpose For the Return On Your Offering Must Be Proper

James 4:3 says:

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

The reason many believers cannot fully accept the biblical message of abundance is because of the illustrations that are used to describe its benefits.

These unscriptural illustrations are as follows; “If you give, you will get a new Cadillac, you will wear the finest clothes, and live in the biggest house in the best subdivision.” Now don’t misunderstand, God doesn’t mind if you have nice things. However receiving nice things must not be your principal reason for giving to God.

God has a much nobler purpose in mind for the increase He wants to give to you.

Deuteronomy 8:18 says:

“…thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant…. “

Yes, you are reading correctly. God wants to release supernatural wealth gathering power to you. However, He will only do it if you intend to use it for His purposes.

Let’s take a look as what God wants you to do with the money He is about to put under your control.

Genesis 12:2 says:

“…I will bless thee…and thou shalt be a blessing….”

God wants to put enough money in your hands to give, to bless, and to feed every person He tells you to.

Let’s take a moment to formulate a biblical plan for spending the money God is about to release into your hands.

A.        You will surely want to tithe on your increase. A failure to tithe on the money that  comes to you will stop any future blessings.

Malachi 3:10 says:

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse… and prove me now here with, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

B.        You will also want to give some money from your increase into another          offering for a future harvest.

2 Corinthians 9:8 in The Living Bible says:

“God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more, so that there will not only be enough for your own needs, but plenty left over to give joyfully to others.”

C.        You no doubt have some personal desires that a portion of our harvest          must be used for.

After tithing and giving an offering from your financial harvest, it is God’s will that some of your own desires are met.

1 Corinthians 9:7-8 in The Living Bible says:

“What soldier in the army has to pay his own expenses? Have you ever heard of a farmer who harvests his crop and doesn’t have the right to eat some of it? What shepherd takes care of a flock of sheep and goats and isn’t allowed to drink some of the milk?

“And I’m not merely quoting the opinions of men as to what is right. I’m telling what God’s law says.”

As long as the distribution of the money you are about to receive falls into these three areas, God will be pleased to release more to you.

Key number three – your purposes for the return on your offering must be right!

Key # 4--Your Offering Must Be Given in Faith Believing!

Hebrews 11:6 says:

“…Without faith it is impossible to please (God)….”

Giving your offering in faith believing goes beyond simply having the faith to believe that you will be able to get by without the money you have given. You must also have the faith to believe that God will keep His promises to multiply your offering back to you.

Hebrews 11:1 says:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things now seen.”

The Bible says that our faith is substance or better said, it is the “raw material” that your financial return will be made out of.

To guarantee God’s promised harvest, you must focus your faith on the fulfillment of God’s promise. The money you are giving is not the substance that your harvest will be made of. It is the faith you have in God’s ability to keep His promise of a multiplied return that brings the harvest.

If your offering is no given in full faith believing that it will be multiplied back, it will be an incomplete offering because it will lack the substance (raw material) that is need to produce the miracle that God has promised.

Hebrews 11:6 says:

“…without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently (carefully) seek him.”

The amount of money you give is the visible evidence of the intensity (or the bigness) of the invisible faith you are believing God with.

James 2:18 says:

“…Shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will she thee my faith by my works.”

Rule number four - your offering must be given in faith believing.

Key # 5--Your Offering Must Be Given to a Good Ground Ministry

Matthew 13:8 says:

“…(seed) fell into good ground, and brought forth…hundredfold…. “

It is a well-known fact that seeds must be planted in good ground if they are going to bring forth a harvest. Poor soil cannot bring forth an abundant harvest. Placing your financial seed into a good-ground ministry is absolutely essential if it is going to produce an abundant financial harvest.

There are many ministries in the earth today. However, all ministries do not qualify as good-ground ministries.

There is one unmistakable characteristic that every good-ground ministry possesses. They vigorously attempt to accomplish the specific assignment God has given them.

Some ministers have been called to teach God’s Word. Others have been called to evangelize. Still others have been called to lead a church as Pastor. Each of these assignments is equally important to God’s overall plan because He is the one that them to the corporate church.

Ephesians 4:11 says:

“…He gave some, apostles: and some, prophets: and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”

Where Your Offering Should Be Given

The Apostle Paul tells you where to give when you are in a learning situation.

Galatians 6:6 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support].”

God says you should give an offering to the one who teaches you His Word. Please do not think that I am bringing this to your attention for selfish reasons. It is a necessary part of teaching you how to give so that you can experience a financial harvest. If I fail to teach you everything that pertains to this subject, my ministry would not qualify as a good ground ministry.

According to the Bible, God is instructing you to plant your seed for the offering that God must multiply into the ministry that is teaching you how to properly make this offering.

There is a second benefit in giving your offering into the ministry f the one who teaches you. This minister will fully understand and believe in what you are doing. In addition, the prayers of your teacher will be very effective.

James 5:16 says:

“….The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

Key number five – your offering must be given to a good ground ministry

Key # Six--Your Offering Must Be truly Significant to You.

2 Samuel 24:24 (Paraphrased)

“…Neither will I offer…unit the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing [that which is precious to me].”

When offering time comes, many uninformed fools just grab something out of their pocket or purse and drop it into the offering plate. Rest assured that God is not going to accept an offering that is haphazardly given.

Others believe that those who give larger sums of money are more pleasing to God than those who give smaller amounts. This is also not true. Jesus tells of a time that two pennies (mites) were considered to be more valuable to Him than much larger amounts.

Mark 12:41-44

“…Jesus…beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

“And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites… And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance (Surplus); but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”

This scripture tells you that Jesus is very interested in your innermost thoughts when you make your offering. This verse tells us that Jesus is not nearly as interested in how much you give as He is in how you feel inside about the amount you have given.

Mark 12:41 says:

“…Jesus… beheld how much the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.”

During this time, a poor widow throws in two mites. Jesus immediately calls his disciples attention to the fact that this poor widow’s two mites meant more to Him than the big money that was being given.

Mark 12:43 says:

“…this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:”

To understand why Jesus comes to this conclusion, you must carefully consider the reason he gives.

Mark 12:44 says:

“For all they did cast in of their abundance [surplus]; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”

The thing that made the widow’s offering special was the fact that she was not giving from her surplus funds. She needed every cent she could get her hand on to stay alive. The widow was giving “precious money.” It was household money. In contrast, the big donors were giving after their cupboards had been filled and their bills were all paid.

Money that is given from non-discretionary funds is the kind of money God always looks upon as “precious money!” Notice that the poor widow’s offering was made with money that was desperately needed for living expenses. Jesus immediately understands what she is doing. This causes Him to call His disciples’ attention to the bigness of her offering.

Mark 12:44 says:

“…she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”

The amount of money that makes your offering truly previous to you will most certainly cause your offering to be precious to God. When you give in this way, God will most surely accept your offering and multiply it back.

With this thought in mind, let’s take a few more moments to look at an offering that God had to multiply back fast.

1 Kings 17:10-16 says:

“…[Elijah] called to her [the widow woman], and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. And as she said…I hae note a cake, but a handful of mean ina barrel, I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

“And Elijah said unto her, Fear not…but make me thereof of a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and fir thy son.

“For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of mean shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail.

“And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah… And the barrel of mean wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD.”

There can be no question about it. The widow in this account gave an offering from her non-discretionary supply. She desperately needed a fast harvest from her offering because she was giving from the last supplies she had. Notice how quickly the supernatural miracle of increase comes to her when she generously gives “The offering that God must multiply”.

1 Kings 17:15-16 says:

“And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah… And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruise of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD.”

When you give really big, it is important to know that God guarantees your harvest.

Hear the guarantee from God’s own Word.

Psalm 126:5-6 says:

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless [It’s guaranteed] come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [harvest] with him.”

Your money seeds are always precious seeds when they are in short supply. The psalmist states that you will have a guaranteed harvest when you sow money seed that are extremely precious to you.

Psalm 125:5 says:

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

You will never break out of your cycle of shortage as long as the fear of insufficiency keeps you from giving really big.

Determining the amount of money that will be significant to God becomes easy when you understand the connection that exists between the way you feel about your offering and the way Jesus feels about your offering.

Hebrews 4:15 says:

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.”

The Bible says that Jesus is touched by the way you feel about things. He will actually feel the same way as you do about the offering that seems insignificant to you.

When deciding how much money to give in the offering that God must multiply, keep in mind that the value you place upon your offering will establish the value God places on it. Make sure your offering is a significant amount to you and it will be accepted by God.

Key number six – your offering must be significant to you!

Key # 7--You Must Allow God To Guide You In Establishing The Amount You Give

Isaiah 48:17 says:

“I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit (increase), which leadeth thee by the way that though shouldest go.”

Not only does God promises to teach you how to increase but according to this verse, He will also personally escort you step by step in obtaining the increase He has promised.

If you are sincere about making the offering that God must multiply back, you will gladly welcome any assistance He offers. Don’t hesitate in asking God for guidance because He will answer when you ask for His assistance in increasing your assets.

Matthew 7:7 says:

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

God is the only one who knows exactly what is going to happen in the future. He is also more than willing to prepare for you any unforeseen problems that lie ahead. Because of this, we know that God will gladly tell you exactly how much money you should give so that your harvest will be more than enough to any unforeseen financial needs.

Here’s what you must now do. Take the phone off the hook and find a quite place. Now, bow your head and ask God how much money He wants you to give in “The offering that He must multiply”. If you already have an amount in mind, mention it to Him in your prayer. It is very possible that it is an amount that He has placed in your spirit.

Pay close attention to your inner feelings as you ask God about the amount you are to give. If you feel uneasy with an amount, set it aside and present another amount to Him. Do this several time, always paying close attention to your innermost feelings; whether the amount you are presenting make you peaceful or restless.

When God gives you inner peace about an amount, it is a clear signal that He approves of the amount you have selected. The reason you must be sensitive to the feeling of your inner peace is clearly taught in God’s Word.

Colossians 3:15 says:

“…let the peace of God rule in your hearts….”

The word “rule” as it is used in this verse is better translated as umpire. I want you to notice how this verse relates to finding the amount that God wants you to give.

Colossians 3:15 (paraphrased) says:

“And let the peace of God rule (or be the umpire) in your hearts.”

When you have arrived at the amount that gives you inner peace, you have come to the amount you must give in the offering that God must multiply.

Do not hesitate to mention amounts of money that are considerably high than you have ever given before. It is surprising to most who try this how often the inner peace of God settles over them when they launch out in giving higher amounts.

Getting God involved in helping you establish the amount of money you will give may seem a bit unfamiliar at first. However, after just a few moments, your spirit will become comfortable with it and God’s perfect amount will be made known to you.

Notice that when the peace of God descends upon you about the amount you are to give, it will be a truly significant amount to you.

Key number seven – you must allow God to guide you in establishing the amount you give.

You Must Now Make The Offering That God Must Multiply

At this moment, you are better prepared to make the offering God must multiply than you have ever been before. You must not wait. Now is the time to put the powerful information that has just been released in your spirit to work. If you wait, your faith will grow weaker.

James 1:22 says:

“…be ye doers of the word, and not the hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

You must now begin the offering that God must multiply.

Key # 1: The offering you are now making must be given willingly.

2 Corinthians 8:12 says:

“For if there be first a willing mind…[your offering] is accepted.”

Do not allow the Devil to tell you that you are being forced to give this offering. If he can trick you into believing this, you will become unwilling in your heart to do it. This will immediately stop your offering from being multiplied back to you. If the Devil dares to speak even a word, you must immediately rebuke him.

James 4:7 says:

“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Now that you have established before God your unwavering willingness to give, move on to key number two.

Key  # 2: The offering you are now making must be given in accordance with your blessing, not your shortage.

2 Corinthians 8:12 says:

“…[your offering] is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.”

You must now take your mine completely off of any insufficiency you might be experiencing at this time. Carefully focus your thoughts on the wonderful things God has already provided for you. With His blessings in mind, you are ready to proceed.

Notice that this state of mind causes your heart to be full of gratitude. This will make it easy for you to accomplish the remaining steps.

Key # 3: The return from the offering you are now making must be used for a proper reason.

James 4:3 says:

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

Carefully focus your thoughts on exactly what you will do with the money God is about to multiply back to you. Make a firm promise to God that you will tithe on it as well as give some good strong offerings from it. Then tell God exactly what you plan to do for yourself or a loved one with the remainder of the harvest you are going to receive.

You may want to use it for a special need or desire. You must not allow the Devil to bring any condemnation to you for the way you will spend your portion of your harvest. Hear the Word of God again.

1 Corinthians 9:7-8 in The Living Bible says:

“. . . have you ever heard f a farmer who harvests his crop and doesn’t have the right to eat some of it? What shepherd takes care of a flock of sheep and goats and isn’t allowed to drink some of the mils?

“And, I’m not merely quoting the opinions of men . . . I’m telling you what God’s law says.”

With your purposes for your harvest clearly in line with God’s instruction, you may now move to the next step.

Key # 4:         The offering you are making must be given in strong faith believing that God will multiply it back.

Hebrews 11:6 says:

“. . .   without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

You must now carefully focus your faith on the promises God has made to give you a multiplied return.

Mark 10:29-30 says:

“. . .   no man that hath left house . . . or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,   But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and . . . lands . . .”

You must not allow your faith to waver at God’s gracious promise to give you a really big return. Start right now to faithfully believe God for the biggest return you have ever experienced.

Read and reread the above promise until it ignites in your spirit. When you are confident that this promise belongs to you, move to the next promise.

Luke 6:38 says:

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.”

You must once again read and reread this verse until it builds faith in your heart. Remember, the Bible says that faith cometh (increases) by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)

Carefully, meditate on the following scriptures and let them take root in your heart.

Romans 8:32 says:

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”

Matthew 13:8 says:

“But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.”

Psalm 35:27 says:

“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”

Key # 5: The offering you are making must be given to good ground ministry.

Matthew 13:8 says:

“. . . (seed) fell into good ground, and brought forth   .   .   .   some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.”

God says that you are to bless your teacher with your offering.

Galatians 6:6 in the Amplified Bible says:

“Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support].”

Be assured that I am ready to come into complete agreement with you for your optimum return.

Notice that my agreement with you in this matter will strengthen your offering and help to bring your harvest.

Matthew   18:19 says:

“. . . if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

Giving your offering into the good ground ministry that God instructs you to brings you one step closer to receiving a supernatural financial harvest.

Key # 6: The offering you are making must be an amount of money that is truly significant to you.

Mark 12:43-44 says:

“Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of the abundance; but she…cast in all that she had, even all her living.”

Remember, only an amount that is truly significant to you will be significant to God. At this point, don’t take a chance by holding back. You are on the verge of a tremendous financial breakthrough. However, you must keep in mind that every breakthrough in reaping is the result of a breakthrough in sowing.

You must attempt to be as generous to God in your offering as He has been in His offerings to you. Just one more step and the offering that God must multiply will be complete.

Key  # 7:   The offering you are now making must given with God’s guidance. you must allow Him to tell you how much to give.

Isaiah 48:17 says:

“I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”

Reverently bow your head and sincerely ask our Lord exactly how much you should give in this offering. Carefully wait for the peace of God to settle over you when you have determined the amount God would have you give. Notice that three powerful things are now in place:

1.    You are ready to experience the abundant financial return that a properly given offering promises.

2.    I am ready to join my faith with yours for the best financial harvest you have ever known.

3.    God is ready to perform His Word by brining an abundant financial return into your life.

Your Bible says that when three agree, multiplied strength is produced.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says:

“…a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

Do not allow any doubt to come to you about God’s willingness to deliver your harvest. God’s word tells us that it makes God happy when He can deliver finances to you.

Psalm 35:27 says:

“Let the LORD be Magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity if his servant.”

As you send your offering to this ministry, you can be sure that I will personally come into a prayer of agreement with you that you will receive the bountiful financial harvest that God has promised.

James 5:16 in the Amplified Bible says:

“… The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”

I will continue to pray over your offering until you send me a testimony of the bountiful return you have received from the offering that God must multiply.

Be sure to use the attached envelope when you send “The Offering That God Must Multiply.” This envelope is coded to notify the mailroom to immediately bring your offering to my attention. A government approved tax deduction statement will be sent to you.

Be assured that your offering will be used to teach biblical economics to as many of God’s children as possible. Thank you for this opportunity to teach you and join my faith with yours in making “The offering God must multiply."

"Take care of you!" Ruth told her mother-in-law, "The man with whom I worked today? His name is Boaz.”  Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, "Why, God bless that man! God hasn't quite walked out on us after all! He still loves us, in bad times as well as good!. . ."  Ruth 2:19-20 MSG

A few paragraphs back I made a statement that I wanted you to get down in your spirit.  I feel led to write it one more time.

God is doing more for you right now that you can’t see . . . so He can bring you into the things that you can see.

We’ve established in Ruth 2:20 in the Message Bible that God works in our behalf establishing divine connections in the good times and the bad.  But now let’s read this particular verse in its entirety.

“Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, "Why, God bless that man! God hasn't quite walked out on us after all! He still loves us, in bad times as well as good!"  Naomi went on, "That man, Ruth, is one of our circle of covenant redeemers, a close relative of ours!"

Are you seeing that Boaz was a “covenant redeemer?”  Ruth ended up married to a very wealthy and highly respected man. . .who understood the covenant and adhered to its principles.

God has a covenant with His children. . .He has made promises to each of us.

Our worth is measured by what’s in our hearts and not what’s in our wallets.

It’s important for every believer to understand that no matter how things look at the moment. . .noble character will always draw the financial anointing into your life.

And, by the way, it will also establish your legacy.  Ruth had a child with Boaz and become the great grandmother of King David.

One final observation: noble character is a matter of status. . .the Proverbs 31 woman was wealthy. . .her husband was well respected.  Yet, through her work and character qualities, their wealth grew.  Her character manifested the financial anointing.

Ruth was broke and her husband was dead. . .she was a stranger in a foreign land with different customs. . .it looked as if everything was against her. . .but her noble character made a way for her where there seemed to be no way.

When you do what’s right before God. . .He will always. . .draw a financial anointing into your life.
